Prerequisite for Jazz Bass 2: 1. Successful completion of Jazz Bass, offered by Berklee Music OR 2. Basic theory knowledge (scales, chords, keys). Moderate music reading skills. Intermediate technical playing ability. Some experience in playing jazz standards. Fundamental understanding of walking bass lines. A. Submit an audio file (mp3) of your playing demonstrating your ability. Choose a jazz standard from the following list and perform: one chorus of melody and one chorus of walking bass line Autumn Leaves B. Submit an audio file (mp3) of you playing a walking bass line over a Jazz Blues in the keys of: F, Ab, and C - one chorus each
